Advanced Dynamic Website

A Dynamic Website is a website that responds to the user's needs. They offer a place for the user to type in data, and provides relevant information by accessing information in a connected database. A dynamic website can operate more effectively by allowing users to go beyond reading text and looking at graphics.

A dynamic website can operate more effectively, be built more efficiently and is easier to maintain, update and expand. It is much simpler to build a template and a database than to build hundreds or thousands of individual, static HTML web pages.

Dynamic Websites are for example email websites, banking sites where users can access their personal financial information, and sites that base their information on location, such as a national weather page. Any website that offers information based on any data the user provides is a dynamic web page

Basic Static Website

A static website has fixed content pages stored on the server in the format that is sent to a client web browser and it is mainly coded in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). Each page displays the same information to every visitor.

A good example of Static sites are a few-page website or a brochure website that present pre-defined, static information to the user, and they are the easiest to create. Unlike Dynamic Websites, Static Websites do not require Web programming and do not connect to a database. A static site can be built by creating HTML pages.

Static Web pages need to be manually updated by a webmaster or a programmer. This could be useful for small websites such as personal ones, but can make large sites impossible to maintain and update. Static sites are usually created using templates and the manual process to edit the text, photos and content and require basic design skills.
